Privacy and your data

GUIIQ saves your conversations, remembered facts, instructions, People links and Library files so you can use them again. Signed-in data belongs to your verified email account. Guest data belongs to a signed browser cookie; clearing it can remove your way to reach that guest data.

Cloudflare stores data and files. Vercel runs the website. Requests may be sent to the configured AI providers, including DeepSeek, Anthropic and Atlas Cloud. Reading aloud can use ElevenLabs. Sign-in emails use Resend.

Web research uses Tavily and public websites. GUIIQ sends a focused search query rather than your whole prompt. Say “Do not search the web” to disable that outside lookup. This does not turn off the AI provider processing needed to answer you.

Your People photos and Library files require your own session to open. A name is linked from what you tell GUIIQ; it is not face recognition. Marketplace shares are separate: when you create a share link, anyone with that link can view the shared listing.

Contact sharing needs the person’s consent. A match does not automatically share private contact details. Operational records track allowance, job state and failures; they should not contain private prompt text.

Settings lets you edit or remove one remembered fact, clear facts and instructions, and undo the last memory change. This does not erase chats, People, private Brain notes or files. The data export contains your stored text and file metadata; original files remain available in Library.

Account-wide deletion is not yet a self-service button. For deletion or privacy requests, contact info@guiiq.com. GUIIQ will need to verify the account before changing its data.

Penny Owl traffic measurement

Penny Owl uses a random first-party browser ID stored in local browser storage and a cookie to estimate unique visitors. The cookie lasts up to one year; local browser storage lasts until you clear it. This ID is separate from accounts, names, email addresses and purchases. The counters do not store IP addresses or use the ID for advertising.

Pages visible for at least five seconds count as page views, including return visits. Basic bot filtering reduces ordinary automated traffic but does not prove that every visitor is human. Clearing browser storage or using a different browser or device can count as a new unique visitor. If browser storage is blocked, the counters cannot reliably count that browser.

The server stores hashed browser IDs for the first 10,000 measured unique browsers, then uses a fixed-size statistical estimate with about 1.6% typical relative error. Recent hashed page-event receipts expire after 24 hours and prevent a network retry from adding another view. Aggregate traffic totals are private and available only through authorized owner access.
